Electrical cables are used to transfer sound instead of a plastic tube, reducing distortion. RIC hearing aids offer a comfortable, open-type application. They are suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss and are available in a variety of colors, even metal hues, to suit your hair or skin tone.

BTE, Behind the ear, Οπισθωτιαίο, οπισθωτιαία ακουστικά, Starkey

The mechanism is placed in a casing that is fitted behind the ear. A transparent plastic tube directs the amplified sound to a made-to-fit mold which is placed inside the ear canal. They are suitable for mild to severe hearing loss, and are also available in a variety of colors, to match perfectly with your hair or skin tone, like RICs.
